Manchester United’s nine game unbeaten run across all competitions came to an end on Sunday as they were beaten 3-1 by Aston Villa.
Unai Emery enjoyed a superb start to life as Villans boss, watching his new side cruise to a memorable victory over United in his first game in charge.
United struggled in attack, with their only goal coming courtesy of Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, who put through his own net.
With that in mind, Erik ten Hag is reportedly already considering a move for a striker.
As reported by The Sun, United are interested in Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic as they look to source a long-term successor to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 37-year-old is believed to be unhappy at Old Trafford and could leave the club in January if a suitable offer is made.
United are therefore looking at potential replacements, and Vlahovic is one name that has been suggested.
The report also claims that United are monitoring Benjamin Sesko, according to The Telegraph.
Vlahovic, 22, joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January for a fee
