The Department of State Services, DSS, has established a new Directorate of Public Relations and Strategic Communications, DPRSC.
DSS Director General, Yusuf Bichi, established the department as part of efforts in sustaining engagement with Nigerians as well as deepening democratic governance, transparency and accountability.
A statement by the DSS DPRSC said Bichi appointed the secret police spokesman, Peter Afunanya, to head the Directorate.
